Our Vision

To Preach Christ Crucified! (1 Corinthians 1:23a)

Our Mission

The Word ‘preach’ means to publicly proclaim or teach; earnestly advocate. So, what are we to publicly proclaim and earnestly advocate? Christ Crucified!

Our understanding of this call forms the core of our mission as it affects us in 3 main ways:

Our Lives : Our lives must reflect the life of Jesus, who is our Christ: One of Love and Sacrifice.

John 15:13: “No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends.”

Philippians 2:1-5: “If then there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus…”

Our Message : To keep it simple and anchored on the Bible; and nothing but the Bible.

Deuteronomy 4:2: “You must not add anything to what I command you or take anything away from it, so that you may keep the commands of the Lord your God I am giving you.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 2:16: “Avoid irreverent and empty speech since those who engage in it will produce even more godlessness..”

Our Endorsement: The implication of Christ Crucifixion is the justification in His resurrection, and that by God. Likewise, we look to God to confirm his word in our lives and message.

Acts 2:24: “God raised him up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by death.”

Ephesians 1:20: “He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens.”

Hebrews 4:12: “For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

1 Corinthians 1:22-24: “For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles. Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
